About A&E Supply Company
In 1977, A&E was established on principles of dedication to customer needs and sound business practices. Under the leadership of its original founders, A&E quickly became the foremost resource in Central Virginia for the CAD Operator, Designer, Architect, Engineer and Surveyor in need of reprographic work that met or exceeded the highest standards in quality, attention to detail and flexibility in meeting deadlines.
Ten years later, in 1987, A&E moved to its current main location on North Boulevard. The central location enabled the company to expand its service to the Richmond Metro area by providing rapid pickup and delivery, and a convenient, easy-to-reach facility for drop offs, supplies shopping or product and service demonstrations. The company has always had strong relationships with premiere equipment and supply vendors, including Océ, Xerox, Ricoh, Hewlett Packard and others. Over the years, this impressive roster grew to include hardware and services for small-format copiers, digital reproduction of black & white and color, as well as bindery and finishing services.
In 2000, the firm joined the American Reprographics Company. As the largest reprographic company in the world, ARC provides A&E with sister divisions across United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe and Asia. ARC also provides the most innovative technology available in reprographics today, including the PlanWell® family of products, the world's premiere online plan room and invitation to bid application; EWO, the electronic work order; Sub–Hub, the support of two dedicated Technology Centers, and much more.
Now, more than 30 years after our modest beginnings, A&E is one of the largest reprographics firms in Virginia, servicing thousands of clients.
