Management Team Bios

Jay Wells, President
Jay has been in the printing industry for his entire career. His career in the in the reprographics industry started in 1993 when he joined A&E Supply Company. Jay has held the position of account manager, production manager, Vice President of Sales and is currently the President. He was also instrumental in the launching of PlanWell when it was first released in our market in 1999. Jay serves on the board of directors for the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) and is on the membership committee for Associated General Contractors of America.

Charlie Hunt, Operations Manager
Charlie has been with the team at A&E since 1992. He has held various positions throughout production including 3 years in mounting/lamination, and many years in large documents department., 7 years as Assistant Production Manager and in November of 2004 he was promoted to Facility Operations Manager and has extensive knowledge in reprographics.

Roger Quick, Digital Imaging Manager
Roger has been with A&E since 2005. He oversees the IT, Color Graphics, Cadd, Mounting / Laminating and PlanWell departments. Roger and his team strive to meet all customer requests.

Donna Carter, Customer Service Manager
Donna joined us at A&E as Customer Service Manager in March of 2004. Throughout Donna's professional career in the graphics design field, her reputation and "can do" attitude for taking care of customers specific needs has gained her exceptional character as Customer Service Manager.

Chantelle Hayes, Digital Consultant 
From blue-line to digital, Chantelle has seen it all. Providing over twenty years of service to A&E, Chantelle is an unparalleled source for digital consulting. With a client base well grounded in the manufacturing and industrial markets, she is a one stop resource for carrying a project from inception to completion in the most cost effective and efficient manners possible. As a certified Planwell Consultant, Chantelle consistently leverages continuing educational resources to keep abreast of industry developments. She understands the benefits of emerging technologies, the applications of such and educates her clients to harness these capabilities. Not only does she provide the tools and information necessary for her clients to continue to meet their growing needs for years to come but more importantly she provides her clients with a significant competitive edge that only expertise and experience can provide. Chantelle is an active member of: National Assoc. of Women In Construction, Associated Builders and Contractors as well as the Richmond based CREW organization.

Karen Tucker
Karen Tucker, Color Marketing Specialist, started her career for Clarke American Check Printers in Birmingham, Alabama.  While there she was awarded twice the Senior Account Representative of the Year.  Karen also began her own business designing and creating luggage tags for children.  The success of her business, Karen’s Kiddie Tags © grew to reach several states and allowed her to stay at home with her 3 children.  After moving from Alabama to Virginia, because of her husband’s career, she spent most of her time volunteering and coordinating programs for her church, her children’s schools, and her club’s tennis program.  She joined our team here at MIX Imaging and A&E Reprographics and Supply in September of 2008.
