Plot Instructions
Setting up the Plotter Driver for A&E
- Open your AutoCad software.
- Go to your "File" drop down menu
- Choose "Plotter Manager"
- Choose "Add-A-Plotter Wizard"
- Click the "next" button
- Highlight the "My Computer" button
- Click the "next" button
- A. Under the "Manufacturers" menu, highlight "Hewlett-Packard"
B. Under the "Models" menu, highlight "DesignJet 750C C3196A
C. Click the "next" button - Click the "Continue" button
- Click the "next" button
- A. At the top of the screen, highlight the "Plot to File" button
B. Click the "next" button - Click the "next" button 13. Click the "Finish" button
Creating Plot files for A&E
- Open your AutoCad software and open your drawing.
- Go to your "File" drop down menu
- Choose "Plot"
- A. Select the "Plot Device" tab
B. Under the "Plotter Configuration" window, select your HP 750C driver
C. Under the "Plot to File" window, make sure that the "Plot to File" box is checked
D. Select the "Plot Settings" tab
E. Under the "Paper Size" window, select your paper size
F. Under the "Plot Scale" window, select your scale
G. Click the "Full Preview" button - If this drawing looks correct to you, click your right mouse button
- Choose "Plot"
- This new Plot file will be located in the same folder as your original .dwg file. This new Plot file is the file that we want to print from. (In AutoCad 2004 & 2005 you must specify which folder the .plt files will be located.)
